I’m Maestro William Henry Curry, music director and conductor of the Durham Symphony Orchestra. This has been a tough year for all of us. Performing artists and all of the workers who support us have felt the additional loss of not being able to do what we love most—in case of the Durham Symphony, that’s make music together.

That’s one reason why I’m vaccinated against the Covid 19 virus and why all our orchestra members and staff are as all. And it’s why I’m asking you to get the vaccination-- so we can all safely gather again and celebrate glorious live music together. Get vaccinated for yourselves, for your children, for your elders, for your neighbors and let’s make music together again. Thank you
