Peer Review 101 for Arts and Culture Grants

02:00 pm ~ 03:00 pm ET

Have you ever wondered how applications for federal arts and culture grants are reviewed? Panelists play a central role in reviewing grant applications and federal agencies are always looking for individuals with relevant experience to serve. Participating as a panelist can also provide insight into elements of a strong proposal and a broader view of the arts and culture field. In this webinar, representatives from the Institute for Museums and Library Services, National Endowment for the Arts, and National Endowment for the Humanities will provide more information on what is involved in serving as a review panelist for their agencies and how to volunteer to be considered. This webinar is hosted by the Arts, History, Humanities & Culture Cluster of the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity through Historically Black Colleges and Universities and is open to all to attend.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

Closed captioning will be available. If you need other reasonable accommodation, please send a request to events@arts.gov by Monday, June 3rd.
