The National Council on the Arts 213th meeting will take place this June in Ohio and will focus on Arts in Rural Communities.

Following remarks by Chair Jackson, this meeting will feature a series of conversations with arts and design leaders exploring the contributions of arts and culture in rural areas through creating connections and strengthening the health and well-being of individuals and communities. The meeting will also feature educational performances by National Council on the Arts member Kinan Azmeh , as well as students from Columbus Youth Jazz, who will also perform during a meet and greet following the meeting, which will also feature a recitation by Ohio Poet Laureate Kari Gunter-Seymour.
