Bio
Richie Hofmann’s new collection of poems is forthcoming from Alfred A. Knopf next year. He is also the author of A Hundred Lovers (Knopf, 2022) and Second Empire (Alice James Books, 2015), winner of the Beatrice Hawley Award, and his poems appear in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, and POETRY, among other magazines. He received his MFA in poetry from the Johns Hopkins University and his PhD in English Literature from Emory University. The recipient of the Ruth Lilly and Wallace Stegner fellowships, he has taught in the Creative Writing Program at Stanford University and in the Humanities Core at the University of Chicago.
