National Council on the Arts Meeting, June 26, 2015

The tri-annual public meeting of the National Council on the Arts took place on Friday, June 26, 2015. The meeting included agency business as well as guest presentations. The presentations included: * A look at vignettes created through the NEA’s “Tell Us Your Story” campaign to celebrate the NEA’s upcoming 50th anniversary, with Jessamyn Sarmiento, Director of Public Affairs. * A presentations on festivals and community engagement with Lisa Sims, Deputy Director Venture Richmond; Tom Frouge, Co-Founder Globalquerque!; and Barnaby Evans, Executive Artistic Director WaterFire Providence. * A presentation by Rick Sperling, President and Artistic Director Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit and a performance by Mosaic singers and actors.
