City of Laramie, Wyoming (Parks and Recreation Department)
The NEA grant will support the creation of a public art plan for Laramie, Wyoming. A public art consultant will engage the community to establish a plan that will guide the siting, selection, installation, and maintenance of public art in the city. The University of Wyoming Art Museum, Laramie Main Street Alliance, Laramie Beautification Committee, and City of Laramie will work together to assemble stakeholders who will inform the public art plan. Historically a railroad town, Laramie is a community of 30,816 people with diverse cultural programming and arts activities driven by the University of Wyoming.
