Tommy Tune, the six foot six tap dancer, choreographer, musical director, and actor is the recipient of nine Tony Awards in four different categories. Other accolades include eight Drama Desk Awards, two Obie Awards, and two Fred Astaire Awards. Tune garnered his first Tony for Best Featured Actor in Michael Bennett's Seesaw. He received directing honors for The Club, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and Nine. For Grand Hotel and The Will Rogers Follies, Tune received Best Choreography and Best Direction of a Musical, the only artist to garner both awards in two succeeding years. Among his other noted productions is My One and Only co-starring Twiggy. His Hollywood appearances include Hello, Dolly! with Barbra Streisand and Ken Russell's The Boy Friend.
