The Main Terrain is an urban park in Chattanooga, Tennessee that features several pieces of public art including a sculpture modeled from cast concrete pylons and steel trusses that can be turned using a wheel at the base.

Allied Arts of Chattanooga in Tennessee received a 2011 Our Town grant to transform a parking lot into an urban park called the Main Terrain. This sculpture is one of several in the park designed by Thomas Sayre of Thomas Sayre/Clearscapes of Raleigh, NC. By turning the wheel at the base of the pylon, users can rotate the massive bridge truss elements to create new sculptural formations.  Photo by  Samuel Burns
