From Charleston to New York City, Rocco was up and down the east coast this week celebrating the launch of Blue Star Museums. The kick-off events began on Tuesday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where Rocco was joined by special guests such as Captain Creel Brown and his daughter Riley, Gunnery Sargent Mark Butler, Joining Forces Executive Director Brad Cooper, and Blue Star Families CEO Kathy Roth-Douquet. Check out our virtual tour of all the galleries the group visited during the event.

The next day, it was off to the Gibbes Museum of Art in Charleston, South Carolina. There, Rocco learned about the city's artistic history as he toured the museum with Lt. Col Craig Punches, Lt. Col Maureen Robinson and her son Shawn, Charleston Mayor Joseph Riley, and Army Wives cast member Brian McNamara. We interviewed Angela Mack, the museum's chief curator and executive director, to learn the back story of what the Blue Star Museums group saw during their tour.

Below are a few photos from this week's launch events. Enjoy, and happy Memorial Day Weekend!
